| Customer Reviews: Perfect little exerciser! September 12, 2009 Joseph T. Wells (Texas, USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this for my wife to pedal in front of the TV. The product is perfect for its use. Very well made and priced reasonably. This is probably the best on the market and we expect many years of use from it. Highly recommend!!
Great! September 13, 2009 paintswithcats (USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Works really well! Not noisy. Comfortable to use. I really like that I can adjust the angle of the peddles and that I can fold it up and tuck it away after use. I highly recommend this for someone who wants gentle but effective exercise for their knees.
peddle exerciser December 16, 2009 Phyllis (St. Louis, Macau) This product was as advertised. It does not provide MUCH of a workout, but it gives me a way to keep moving. I use it while watching TV and have found that my endurance on it has increased. It is what it is and does what it says.
Well made and not noisy were the requirements December 29, 2009 Mark W DeAngelis (Trumbull, CT USA) Overall well made and I recommend to others - just know that resistance will force you backwards - something not always considered in the chair you pick. It's a portable and not a substitute for a regular upright.
There is room for product improvement February 28, 2010 Fydly (Easton, CT, USA) I ordered this product to add a little motion to the extended hours I spend in front of the computer at work and home. (I am pursuing an on line degree, so I sit in front of the home computer to listen to class.)
The product has a few shortcomings which I thought would be eliminated in this model as it is a little more expensive than similar models that cost less but reportedly have the same issue.
The adjuster to tighten the pedal resistance is not good. You can either make it too tight and it loosens by itself or else.
Also, there should be a warning label on the part that gets extremely warm after a 30 mins rigorous pedaling. I am not joking, I touched it inadvertently and burned my fingertips as if I held a frying pan.
The rest is ok. You get a workout while sitting and doing something else. The construct of the product is sturdy.
I am using it but I still believe there is room to improve.
